HaloScape Signs Research Partnership with Amsterdam Tech to Advance AI-Driven Research

A new academic collaboration brings joint research in predictive AI, sensor data interpretation, and computer vision, with a pathway to EU-funded innovation programs.

Today, we're announcing a research Memorandum of Understanding with Amsterdam Tech.

The partnership formalizes what we believe is essential to building a platform that actually matters: rigorous scientific validation alongside real-world product development. Collecting data has become easy. The hard part is making it meaningful. That requires research, not just engineering.

What the partnership covers

The MoU establishes collaboration across multiple areas: joint research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing, computer vision, and sensor data interpretation; structured internship and graduate placement programs for Amsterdam Tech students within our R&D and product teams; exchange of anonymized and de-identified research data; co-organization of symposia, workshops, and hackathons focused on AI; exploration of joint applications for EU-funded research programs, including Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme.

Why this matters

HaloScape's platform sits at the intersection of large-scale data unification and intelligent decision support. Our app unifies data from wearables, IoT devices, lab results, and records into actionable insights. HaloSight, our professional product, connects that same data to professionals with AI-powered assessments and predictive models.

The bridge between raw multi-source data and reliable, actionable intelligence is where research becomes critical. How do you validate that longitudinal sensor data can reliably inform a decision? How do you ensure AI models trained on multi-device data are robust enough for a professional to trust? These are the questions this partnership is designed to help answer.

A growing research network

Amsterdam Tech joins our existing research partnerships. We're also actively collaborating with universities in the Netherlands and Türkiye, with publications in progress.

Adding a European academic partner is particularly significant as we explore EU-funded research pathways. Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme represent meaningful opportunities to accelerate the kind of cross-institutional validation work that AI platforms need, and that the European research ecosystem is well-positioned to deliver.

What's next

The first joint research initiatives will focus on validating how multi-device, longitudinal data can be translated into actionable insights. We'll be sharing more about specific projects as they take shape.

To the Amsterdam Tech team: we're glad to have you with us.
